Q: If I wait three days after treatment, as suggested (i.e I finish treatment on a Wed. night and wait to have sex until Sat. night), will the condom be effective? I would think there would not be any product left in the vagina at this time. Thanks!

A: We recommend that you avoid vaginal intercourse to allow the vagina to heal. This product may damage condoms and diaphragms and may cause them to fail. Therefore, you should wait three days after treatment to resume using condoms or your diaphragm. The word “treatment” in this instance refers to when you finished taking your last dose of the product. Please only resume using condoms when you have no product vaginal discharge present.
